SBI PO Recruitment 2025 –The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially released the notification for Probationary Officer (PO) Recruitment 2025, inviting applications for 541 vacancies across India. The online application process has already begun from 24 June 2025 and will remain open till 14 July 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
SBI PO Recruitment 2025 – Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final-year students are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their degree by 30 September 2025. The age limit is 21 to 30 years as of 1 April 2025, with age relaxation for reserved categories as per government rules.

Salary Structure:
SBI PO Recruitment 2025 – Selected candidates will receive a starting basic pay of ₹48,480, which includes four advance increments, along with other benefits and allowances as per SBI norms.
Selection Process:
The recruitment will follow a three-stage selection process:
- Prelims Exam – Objective test (100 marks), qualifying in nature
- Mains Exam – Objective (200 marks) + Descriptive test (50 marks)
- Interview & Group Exercises – Psychometric test, group discussion, and personal interview (50 marks)
Prelims Exam Pattern:
- English Language – 30 Questions (20 minutes)
- Quantitative Aptitude – 35 Questions (20 minutes)
- Reasoning Ability – 35 Questions (20 minutes)
Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer
Mains Exam Pattern:
- Reasoning & Computer Aptitude – 60 Marks
- Data Analysis & Interpretation – 60 Marks
- General Economy/Banking Awareness – 60 Marks
- English Language – 40 Marks
- Descriptive Test – 50 Marks
The final merit list will consider 75% weightage to Mains and 25% to the interview.
